Travis and Amy were great communicators and we’re very responsive. They even sent us fresh, delicious cookies on the day of our daughter’s wedding !

But beyond that, I can tell that the hosts went above and beyond to make sure the stay is perfect. More than any other place I’ve stayed in, the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. There were more (and nicer) appliances available - including a convection oven option, which I learned is basically a giant air fryer. It managed to feel like a fun vacation but with all the home comforts. It’s also extremely close to Asheville - we went into town almost every day for food and activities. My dogs also loved the large backyard - I only ever see them that happy at dog parks. It was just my wife and my dogs this time, but I want to come back with friends in the future, because there are so many king size beds and enough bathrooms that we wouldn’t crowd each other out. I definitely recommend a stay here!

The home is so accommodating for a large group. We had about 10 people and never felt crowded or cramped - everyone had their own space. Everyone in our group fell in love with the house instantly and kept complimenting me on finding the perfect place. It's such a beautiful home with great character! The backyard is the best and we have already planned on coming back for the summer (hello gorgeous pool!)! The hosts were incredible and went above and beyond - I left my mother's necklace in the downstairs bathroom. Travis immediately responded when we reached out, located the necklace, and mailed it to me within days, for which I am incredibly grateful. Thank you again! Plus an added bonus - you are just a 2 minute drive away from the BEST chicken in all of Asheville at Rocky's Hot Chicken!
